Truly humbled by receiving the President’s Medal from the World Association of Chef Societies (WACS) at its Congress earlier this evening.

I dedicate this award to all those involved in Chefs with Compassion. We started in early April cooking for about 1500 people, 18 weeks later more than 300 tons of produce has been rescued serving close to 900 000 people out of 32 kitchens. To all the chefs, volunteers, beneficiaries, partners, donors, suppliers, farmers and producers, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!
